For more than forty years, L’Arche Greater Washington, D.C. has shared life between people with and without intellectual disabilities, learning again and again that belonging is not something you declare once and for all. It is something you live into, adapt for, and recommit to as circumstances change and people grow older, wiser, and more vulnerable.
