Bring Your Gifts is a central theme for L’Arche Greater Washington DC. It’s a welcome for everyone with or without intellectual disabilities to share and celebrate their own unique gifts. Our core members through their own gifts are the heart of L’Arche GWDC. By sharing life with them, we realize that accepting each other’s gifts is when we fully become human. We invite and humbly request that you too bring your gifts to L’Arche. And join us at our table.
Our society is facing an epidemic of loneliness and isolation. Have you felt that at times? Even people with loving families and support networks can know the strain of disconnect. But when we share everyday life—people with and without intellectual disabilities—we start to heal that strain.
