What an incredible experience to be a part of and let us tell you... rehabilitating this historic farmhouse has been an experience!!
We had a fantastic visit to The Farmhouse this week. A number of us gathered with our partners from Habitat, HomeAid, and builder captain Toll Brothers to sign the studs of our new home.
Through snowstorms, asbestos and lead abatement, pauses due to historical reviews, waiting for an endangered bat species migration to end, and countless other hurdles and adventures, we have arrived at this incredible place at The Farmhouse.
All of this is built on the foundation the Reeves Family carved out—we are so grateful to inherit such a beautiful story of hospitality, generosity, good hard work, and togetherness. We hope to steward that gift well.
The addition has siding, our partners are getting ready to install spray-foam insulation, and the drywall will be up soon. Before we know it, this nearly decade-long project will be ready for a new chapter!
