Diversity Commission

Diversity is the existence of the many unique individuals in our community and each person’s identities, and uniquenesses that make each of us and our community whole, including national origin, culture, ethnicity, race, generation, backgrounds, skills, abilities, sexual orientation, gender, religion, spiritual practices, sense of time, preferred language, and political affiliation.

We commit to responding to the needs of our diverse community through honoring L’Arche’s mission of relationship by celebrating our diversity while further developing how L’Arche GWDC can be inclusive of our diverse cultures, and posing new challenges for L’Arche GWDC to create spaces for unity, faithfulness and reconciliation around diversity in our community.
