Solidarity Day Follow-Up

Each year at L’Arche Greater Washington, D.C., we host a talent show and bazaar as a part of our community’s commitment to living in solidarity with L’Arche around the world.

Spring break volunteers from Assumption College perform with 6th Street House members.

Our hope each year is to highlight the gifts and talents of our community and build relationships while raising money in support of L’Arche communities in need.

This year Solidarity Day was held at Marymount University on March 11th. There were at least 150 people in attendance at the event. The bazaar had a variety of hand-crafted items and homemade treats made by L’Arche community members and their friends. Together we raised $4,962.59 towards our $6,000 goal!

Thank you to all who were able to share time with us at our Solidarity Day!

Donate today to help us reach our goal of $6,000 by donating here and include a note that your gift should go to solidarity. We only need $912 more to reach our goal by March 31st!
