Practicing Solidarity: L’Arche Around the World

“All in L’Arche share a common humanity and a fundamental equality.
We have a shared responsibility for each other and are committed to the
common good.” Guiding principles of L’Arche

L’Arche GWDC belongs to the International Federation of L’Arche. We belong to our sisters and brothers around the world who live out the same mission of L’Arche in so many different ways. There is something very powerful in feeling our connection to other communities and members across the globe. We are bound to each other, bound by our common humanity–utterly unique and yet, all human. “You know that you’re a human? You know that, or not?” recites Roman from L’Arche Ukraine.

It is from this place of solidarity, as humans together on this “blessed land,” that we invite you to consider supporting our sisters and brothers in L’Arche globally. There are many L’Arche communities that receive little to no government funding and who do not have access to donor support. Would you consider donating to our Solidarity Fund in support of these communities? Donations to this fund go to things like continued emergency responses in L’Arche Ukraine, professional trainings for assistants across the world, and L’Arche Zimbabwe’s strategic focus on outreach, day programs, and therapy projects.
