Greetings from Eileen Schofield, L’Arche GWDC’s Friendship Builder and core member at Ontario House.

Q: What is something you want everyone to know?
E: I’m grateful for L’Arche. I’m grateful for all that’s happening around me. It’s almost 2025. Wow! I’m happy about that.

Q: What was special about 2024?
E: We went on trips. We went to regional gathering with people from other L’Arches.

Q: What do you hope for in the new year?
E: I hope to see some more of my friends. I hope to visit more L’Arche homes.

Q: What do you want everyone to know as 2025 begins?
E: I hope you have a happy (and FUN!) New Year!

It’s a long list of folks who make L’Arche life possible: core members, assistants, employees, volunteers, donors, partners, neighbors, and friends—we are so glad each and every one of you is here! Thank you for sharing your gifts in the L’Arche community this year. Your time, resources, and presence all help to make this wonderful community what it is. 

And a special “thank you” to our donors: your generosity makes a daily difference for our core members. One of the reasons that we all love L’Arche is that L’Arche life goes beyond basic care to the full dignity of life we all hope to enjoy. Donations fill the gaps to make that possible.
